Neal Camilleri
Neal is a Maltese born contemporary ceramic and sculptural artist whose work explores memory, emotional landscapes and the quiet stories held within materials. Working between Malta and London, Camilleri creates pieces that bridge past and present, drawing on personal experience, cultural heritage and the architectural rhythms of the places that shaped him.
His practice spans ceramics, painting and mixed media sculpture. Clay remains his primary medium, valued for its immediacy and its ability to carry gesture, instinct and emotion. For larger works, he incorporates materials such as wood, metal and resin, allowing his sculptures to grow in scale and physical presence. Colour plays a central role throughout his work, guiding mood and emotional tone.
