Chang Liu

Chang Liu is a ceramic artist based in London. Trained in both London and Jingdezhen, China, she combines Eastern and Western influences in her work. Through Chang Creations, she crafts functional and decorative ceramics that celebrate nature’s imperfections, the quiet beauty of raw textures, and the elegance of simplicity.

Each piece is hand-built using traditional coil-building and pinching techniques - a meditative process of shaping clay with intention, patience, and reverence for tradition. For Chang, ceramics are more than objects - they are companions for life’s quiet moments, inviting us to embrace the beauty of slow, intentional living.
